The Thakazhi Memorial Museum or Thakazhi Smarakam is a memorial to the Malayalam writer Thakazhi Sivashankara Pillai in Thakazhi, Alappuzha district. The Shankaramangalam Bhavan, the family home of Thakazhi Sivashankara Pillai, was acquired by the Kerala Government in 2000 and converted into a museum in 2001. The museum is maintained by the Archaeological Department.The museum is set up in four rooms of the Shankaramangalam Bhavan. The writer's pen, glasses, clothes, etc. are kept in the museum. In the foyer, Thakazhi's armchair is displayed. In addition, the awards, prizes and certificates he won, including the Jnanpith Award, are displayed. Behind the museum, there is a memorial hall and a full-length bronze statue of Thakazhi.
